Where / how did you get the combustion chamber size? That's the only thing I can see that you haven't explained your measurement methods beyond any doubt...

As long as the battery you are installing meets or exceeds the CCA suggestion, you are fine. More battery is not a bad thing, I've run beefy batteries for years with no problems - well, not due to the battery size, anyhow. :)

Can't hurt to get a nice, clean, bare metal contact for the ground wire. Don't worry about cleaning the bolt holes, though. :) New ground wires will likely take care of it right out of the box, actually.

Easy to find out... pull off the negative terminal and throw an ampmeter in between the battery and the negative cable, see what kind of current your car is drawing while off.

If you switch to solid engine mounts, these are a MUST. The vibration will kill a standard lead acid cell in about 8 months of low mileage. Ask me how I know. :(

You don't really need a whole lot of gasoline for this... a quart is probably more than enough. I use it to clean tools or parts afterwards.
