I thought you should use throttle body cleaner. Thats what I have used on the mass air flow sensor on my celica. It's got a Injen short-ram and I oil the filter. I just cleaner the sensor every few months. No problems. On my FIPK I havn't had to clean that filter yet...
yeah, if I change it, it would have to be pre-89. I've nothing against the three piece, but it doesn't seem right to put it on an earlier model. Thanks for the imput
Looks like a real nice find! Congrats. After you install your kit, if you want to sell the front bumper and lip, hit me up. I would be interested. Good luck with the car.
Thanks for all the feedback guys. I have learned ALOT. Thanks also for the compliment mrnickleye...it isn't show ready yet! It photographs well haha. I have to say to, Albertmdh that you may be right! Now that you say that, it DOES look like a firebird spoiler. I like how it fits and looks, but...
Mine doesn't have TEMS either. The car was owned for years by a lawyer in Erie, Pa (original buyer). He donated it to the Humane Society, who sold it to a small local used car lot who sold it to a guy named Andy, who repainted it, had it one year and sold it to me. I will ask him if HE put the...
jimi87-T----in Pa. to be a classic it has to be 15 years old, out of production, and be essentially stock in appearance. It saves me BIG BUCKS on insurance, plus to me it's cool to have classic plates on an IMPORT. Don't see that every day.
No, I have the low spoiler from the Celica as well, it really is a lot different. The one on the Supra is in the stock mounting holes too. I see now that it is not as wide as the factory one, and the edges are squared off.
I have an 01 Celica and a Supra. I love the Celica lights, but ONLY on the Celica. I've seen them put on other vehicles before, including an NSX and a Civic. They NEVER look good except on the Celica. And them being on a Supra really really is wrong. It's like little brother molested Big brother.
I feel really dumb, but even though I've had my Supra now for 7 months, I only just realized that I haven't seen a spoiler like mine on another Supra. It's really close to the factory spoilers I always see, but it's not quite the same. Question is, only to satisfy my curiosity, is...IS it a...
I pay $11 a month for full coverage, $100 deductible. Yes, you read that right. I have State Farm, and Pennsylvania Classic plates. :) Oh, it's N/A 5 spd. No tickets or violations since 1991 (knock wood). I'm 44, have 5 vehicles through the same agent.
