    MAFT-Pro VE Table

I am! I haven't been into the VE tables yet, though. Haven't hooked up the timing control yet either. :(

    Add me to the list...

I don't know how they could pin that on you. Girl driving - strike one. In reverse - strike two. Damage to the side of your vehicle - strike three.

    locating pins on Block

Those pins are damn cheap. I picked up new ones from Toyota, I'm sure they were ~$1 each. They aren't supposed to be reusable. I just used a punch to pound them through into the water jackets, then used a magnet to get them back out.

    who is the maftpro expert

I run one, awesome little beastie. The only problem is that the thing is so customizable and configurable that you can't write up a FAQ that addresses most people's questions... everyone seems to be different. I know what their capabilities are, for the most part - I don't use the aux input...

    Street racing gone bad

I always have doubts about stories like this. How do I know that those were from street racing? Further, how many people does street racing really kill? How does it stack up against the other killers - smoking, military service, drug abuse, drunk driving? Just to name a few. Does racing on...

As for the Toyota truck bushing, mine has been in there for 2 years, it's still super solid.

    Who remembers this?

Honestly, I wouldn't know - when this site started, I was still into Mk2s, and my connection to the community was the SONiC / SOGI mailing lists. The reason I still have all these files is because I've kept some of the server backups from when I took over as an admin here, or when we moved...

blower fan problems, maybe the resistor?

If the buttons seem to activate random speeds, it's either Kieth's solution or you need a new climate control.

I think I know what thread you are referring to... and if I'm right, the people involved agreed to remove it from public view. Feel free to PM me the URL, I can verify from that...

blower fan problems, maybe the resistor?

If some of the fan speeds just don't seem to activate the fan, then you are right on the money with the resistor. If the fan speeds activate the wrong settings, then you're barking up the wrong tree. :)

IAT mounting location... must be in intake mani?

Sounds like a plan. I think I'll get Randy to weld me another bung in the IC pipes and put a plug in the original one between the valve covers.

might have to cut my supramania shirt off

To quote some guy on the radio the other day... sometimes whiskey dick is useful. Like when you wake up the next morning and realize that fucking the left eye of that pumpkin probably wasn't going to be quite the stellar idea you thought it was at the time - along comes Whiskey Dick to save the...

    Fuel filter replacment

Ironically, I hear that the reason it's a lifetime filter is because it really doesn't filter much of anything. I have no idea how true this is, though I suppose it wouldn't be to hard to figure out, just chop apart an old filter and see what type of element it has in it...
