A 2JZ swap is easier than you think

Just so you know, 2JZ's do NOT have forged pistons - they are cast hypereutectic.

    Ebay

Don't worry - he will be making plenty more money while he's deployed, plus he won't be paying taxes. I was an E-5 and was pulling in over $500 extra per month just on taxes. If he's single and smart, he will put all of his stuff into a storage unit, turn off all utilities and move out before he...

    Ebay

Dude, this car is not rare and he's either trying to rip you off [duh], and/or he doesn't know what he's talking about. A red 89+ targa? Oohhh.. can't find those everyday! If the radiator is cracked, I can almost guarantee it needs a head gasket replacement, at the very least. That could promote...

Sold the Supra, got an AE86

I felt bad for all of the rejected KA engines out there.. they are swapped out for a japanese engine which was never released in the USA that has one more turbo, flip-flops on horsepower/torque ratio, and roughly half-liter less displacement. Sounds familiar..

    SC300 92 2JZ n/a buildup?

How much power do you want? Would a 75 shot be enough for you? If you want any more than that, a thicker headgasket and turbo kit would probably be a much better idea than staying NA. That costs money, but you pay to play.

    I NEED REPLIES RIGHT AWAY!!!

If you want to live in this country, maybe you should accept that times are changing. During the time of WWII, if martial law was declared, people didn't mess around. If they did, they would be killed for misbehavior and nothing would happen. These days, under martial law, people would be...

The homeless guy at my office...

You are a kind person. I would DO something like that, but I never would have THOUGHT to do something like that.

The homeless guy at my office...

Wow. Could you imagine what would have happened if you or someone else went out and tried to tell a stone-drunk bum with a baseball bat to GTFO?

    2jzgte TSRM

I haven't seen a JZA80/2JZ TSRM online like the MA70/7M. Since it's sort of related, I thought I would post in here to ask if anyone knows where I can get a TSRM for mechanical and one for electrical for a Lexus SC300?

My best guess is: drinks, takes pills and then drives around town.

Laying the smack DOWN! I'm starting to feel old now, because I totally agree with those points. The only ones I don't see are the cooking/maid if the wife has a job. When I was a kid, if I was grounded, I was in a room full of books, which I hated! Doing bad in school? I was reading. Homework...

    Scumbags

The worst part about this is some dumbasses are going to be royally scammed and think it was a member of the US Army, and will spread false rumors of scams and trickery - as if our servicemembers don't already have enough problems with earning hearts and minds of the US citizens, let alone those...

    NFL: Cowboys vs Seahawks

I'm glad that at least some people seem to get entertainment from watching and arguing over a bunch of overpaid trained genetic lottery winners. Team sports where players are paid an extraordinary amount of money piss me off. A real team would pay all players on the team equally. No single man...

    Hannity's America

The reason people can't recite the pledge of allegiance is because someone was offended that they had to say "under God" in school. Apparently it violated their rights, so NOBODY would say the pledge in school anymore. If you didn't want to say the pledge, you didn't have to, and over the years...

    I feel like shit...

Tomato sauce drives my acid reflux MAD. I eat a couple of slices and I'll be clearing my throat all day and night. I don't know about foods driving how you feel, but I know that some days I'll feel like complete crap. You just have to find something to get you through. Find a couple of...

    PS3

Maybe I am growing up a little, but I CAN wait for the PS3 and I don't need a 360 to "hold me over". People look at me like I am crazy when they say they have a 360 and I say I'll take a pass - or that I've never played Halo - or that I am a Playstation guy, not an XBox guy. I might not even buy...

    SEAHAWKS WON!!!

I don't watch sports, on general principle, but I did catch last year's superbowl. I have to say, I think the Seahawks deserve something this year for the penetration they took last year.

    Coolest movie villain

Venom has more than potential; it's two beings fused together who both share a symbiotic relationship and utter hate for Spiderman. Looks pretty cool, too. That being said, if this was "villain, period" rather than movie villain, I'd have to say Carnage.
