some people on here have said that the beads would get stuck in the baffles, but others have successfully done it. wire brush worked fine, but bead blasting does look nice when its quality work.

i can't figure for the life of me how the hell toyota got their battery to stay put. does anyone have pics of the battery tiedown, or whatever you guys did to get the battery to stay in place? i've got an optima that loves to slide whenever i corner.

i used a wire cone on my drill, took the paint right off. instead of spending all the time polishing, i just roughed it all up and cleaned most of the paint off of the covers. after that, 3 coats of primer, 3 of black and 3 of red.

got it all back together today, i think the highlight of the engine is the k&n filter (and homemade bracket!)
