That sounds about right. I'm no chemist or anything, but from personal experience, I know aluminum is a HELL of a lot lighter than iron. Once picked up my buddy Nathan's LS1 bare block, it couldn't have weighed more than 80lbs... Beautiful thing. :)

Nope. Kinda hard to get JDM cars licensed here. Although, living where I do in BFE, it's really not that hard. Simple VIN check (hey, Japanese cars have vins too, they just don't fit the standard here!) to make sure it isn't stolen, and go through about a 3 week process to get a title. Easy...
