yeah, burping should help it... if it isnt a BHG... thats what happened in my case. does the coolant flow out from the overflow? i thought there was some blockage in my rad/hoses, but it turned out to be a really nasty BHG... good luck! brad

alright, we tore down the motor last saturday, put on a new head gasket, lower and upper manifold gaskets, all gaskets except y-pipe gasket (kit didnt have it...). car also has new plugs and wires. checked for codes, and came up good, when it would idle. possible explanation for vacuum...
