PK20R8 and BKR6EP-8 are the stock plugs for the 1JZ-GTE. Same plugs were used on a ton of other Toyotas. Here is the part number for Toyota USA to get these: 90919-01180-83.

I'm pretty sure I can put it on as tight as Toyota says by hand. Toyota says to tighten it by hand until you feel a light resistance, then go 3/4 of a turn further. I guess I'll have to see next time I do it ;). I usually use my filter wrench to do it though. To anyone complaining about it...

A lot of people completely paint it over. Best way is to get it all painted, then paint the emblems back to white.

The only thing there should be with this "mod" is a diagram. Original, and what it will look like afterwards. If you can't figure it out from that, I suggest not doing it. Randomly cutting "X" coloured wire and hooking it to this and that is just asking for trouble, you need a wiring diagram...

With stock tires and the stock rear end. 6300rpm is 158.28MPH. If you blew past someone doing "160MPH" at 6300rpm in 5th, chances are his speedometer is off too, lol. Even if you had the 89+ gearing, you'd still only be doing 166MPH. (Unless you have an unholy tire size... what tires are you...

After having pulled the VG out of a Z31 and putting it back in a few times, I've gotta say... it's not that bad. What did you have trouble with?

Fitting the parts from a Euro car would be relatively easy from what I can tell. Only semi-difficult part is wiring, and I doubt that would be too bad either.

^^^ These men speak the truth. :) It's even worse on 89+ gauges that have no markings. Even if it does move, you can't even tell until it REALLY moves.

I've heard of it happening, however almost all dealers will require proof of ownership as well as identification before cutting a key. Also, cars that old are no longer in the database, but I edited out the VIN anyways. If anyone wants to know when it was made, just post the chassis code then...

Yeah, you would need the complete setup from a European car so equipped.

Rear fog lamp. As for the defrosting mirrors. All MK3's (In North America anyways) have that, it comes on with the rear defroster.
