True, and there is no 2000GT historical society, etc, but they have been known to pull in near (if not over) $100,000 at auction.

Horn doesnt work.. now Cruise Control too?

The only thing they share in common is that they both run through the slipring on the steering column to get the connections to the steering wheel. It might be corroded, or something. Might want to disassemble it and clean it up, etc.

Gross misuse of the apostrophe ( ' )...possibly humorous

Okay, well, that's your choice, and nobody said you had to be a part of this thread. Why can't you let us just get upset about bad grammar and spelling! It's fun to do sometimes. ;)

Classic title, yup. Collectable, yup. Classic in the same way a 1970 Challenger 426 Hemi in Plum Crazy with all documentation and matching serial numbers, verified by a historical society... I doubt it. I wish it wasn't so, but I think the only real Toyota right now that will become a classic...

    finally got a tig

Wow that thing looks old, haha. I'm not a welder, so my experience is somewhat limited, but man... old... heh. Oh well, as long as it works! I really like my brother's new Miller Tig though... it's all new and stuff. ;). They've got 2 Tigs and a Mig at his shop though... I'm glad he has a tig...

85 spoiler. The 86 had the 3rd brake light. :) Might have just got a new decal on an 84-86 hatch though. ;)

Update on the Intake for the 7MGTEs

OEM one costs $35 from Toyota. Also, as far as I can remember, I think the stock one was smooth inside, but I can't remember now.

Well, I can see it on something like a 1965 Corvette or something, but the MK2 Supra isn't a classic, and I don't really see it becoming one, unfortunately. :(

    headlight wiring question

Nope, it knows the car is not on because it gets power from a switched fuse. The auto-off system doesn't show a connection to the ECU because it doesn't use it. If you look at the relay internal diagram on the headlight diagram, you'll notice it's different. Also, as far as I can tell, the...

    headlight wiring question

It's when you turn the car off, then open the driver's door, it turns the lights off. It's the auto-turn off system, and it's controlled by the integration relay no. 2. :) http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/library/Wiring/pages/Page_072.html

    Convertible.

I think it looks great. Probably is loose like a wet noodle, but looks great.

Nobody should ever get upset about parts from the wrong years being on a car, unless it's ugly in a bad way. My 88 has a year identity problem, and nobody better say anything about it! :p

Gross misuse of the apostrophe ( ' )...possibly humorous

I know that I do actually use the apostrophe incorrectly sometimes, like if I write 1000s, I will usually write 1000's. Not quite sure why, but nobody has complained directly yet. ;)

Wrong section, but this needs to be said...

In my opinion, the winner should never be announced until the next month, at which point we start gathering entries and stuff for the next month. Allowing for a month of entries/deliberation. Having everything happen within a few days is pushing it, and serves no purpose IMO. The winner is a...

Gross misuse of the apostrophe ( ' )...possibly humorous

Evolution or not, I'd rather see it progress towards a more standard end, not one where everyone feels comfortable doing whatever they feel like. Incorrect spelling and grammar is annoying, and in a lot of cases can make things hard to understand. I understand not everyone will have perfect...
