Japanese dealers have all kinds of weird options they put on cars, haha, seeing some of the brochures is awesome sometimes. Regardless, that's kinda neat, though it was never a factory option, I'm sure some dealers put it in some cars. :)

As far as I know, the database is private, and the only person who can even view it is myself, GrimJack, and Supracentral. Though I could use a few extra bucks... :bleh: (Seriously though, I don't think it was us, lol).

He means ckanderson's car, you can't even see the spoiler in the pic of IdealSupra's car. ;). It's a stock 89-92 Turbo spoiler. Can be had from Toyota (for many $$$), or used, check the classified section. :)

Actually I meant a new MK3 boot could be had cheap, I think the AE86 one is more expensive ($50 or so IIRC). I also doubt it would fit, the AE86 has a somewhat odd angle to the shifter, and I also believe the hole is wrong shape/size in the console to fit. :(

Did you replace the speedo with a new unit, or a used one? If it was a used one, was it known to be good before you used it?

Well, I posted a pic of where mine are mounted, :) I think it's a good spot. I used rubber grommets between the amp and the floor of the trunk as well, to prevent vibration, etc. :)

I think it's best if you know what he wants first before giving him advice, haha. He said he wants a rubber accordian-type boot, like so: A new boot can be had cheap from Toyota, and I recently modified my AE86 to get rid of that boot, I hate it, haha.
