I leave it over the sub. Low frequencies don't get muffled by carpet so easily, and I can't really hear a difference at all with it covered or not, however, I will be cutting the carpet out over the sub and getting something more acoustically transparent sewn in.

From the factory: about 80lbs heavier for the targa, but if you convert a targa into a hardtop, you've still got the extra weight, so it won't really help.

All of our mirrors are heated. Pre-89 and 89+. :) 89+ mirrors are direct fit onto pre-89 cars. I have them on mine.

FWIW, it showed up on any page you went to. Even if it was a thread, or anything, you always saw it once. After that, it disappeared. You could have just clicked refresh and it would have been gone.

Not when I did it originally. I was talking to Suze at the time (in NZ), and it was still the 1st ;). I just did it late in the day on the 1st.

Yup, the ABS components on the car are labelled as skid control items. (PS: Evan, have you taken any pics of the rear speed sensors on your JZA70? I've never seen the 4-channel system in real picture form before, only diagram form ;)).

I would think ths shelf would have to be pretty strong to hold a MK3 for more than a few minutes. I dunno of anyone who makes a shelf that strong.

Old accordian hose might crack, best to have a new one. I tried for like 15 minutes to get it on before I just dipped my finger in some oil, and lubed it up. Went on pretty easy after that. :)
