Better hope your pump doesn't stop running.
That happened to my brother's computer and luckily he had a cpu temp monitor running. Noticed it before it did any real damage.
Sounded a little prison break alarm lol.
These are the pistons from the bad block. I'm not sure but they may have been .020" oversize. They have a 0.50 stamp in the dish.
Maybe just heat expansion??
Finally got the damn pilot bearing out, nice 6m crank. Needs a polish for sure. Red arrows are all the pieces of the pilot bearing.
Weapon of choice for pilot bearing removal?
Old Kick Stand.
Check the clip connection to the starter.
I have a manual start switch but the wiring I had going to the clip broke so I replaced it and it worked perfectly everytime after that.
I don't think I have a slide hammer.
I should have plenty of grease though.
Been banging on that thing for almost 20 mins with barely any results. :nono:
Thanks IJ
Ok so since I already made this thread awhile ago.
How did you get your pilot bearing out?
I have one that is stuck pretty good in the crank I need to use, so far nothing I've tried had worked.
Suggestions? Engine is out of the car but the crank is being held in place by the mains.
