Honestly, this is a good idea I would think. Paint might suffer a bit, but most of the dent should pop from that. Biggest pain is likely to be pulling the interior panel off. Sorry to hear this though man, it has been a bad month for Supras getting hit. I think we all have stories like this...

I read recently on here that taking a dremel and grinding away a bit of the plastic nub that holds the gas door closed away will let it open easier, as the nub does not retract as far as it should with a loose cable. Alternatively, this also sounds like a feasible idea, I may have to give this...

Honestly $800 isn't all that bad for a bolt in HID retrofit I'd say, considering what HID's went for 8-10 years ago... Question is, are these 6054's something that you would recommend? This is one area I don't have a whole lot of experience with.
