Are you trying to swap a soarer 1jz into a ma70? If so you can use your 1jz soarer harness and ecu.

I searched and didn't come up with a straight answer, so my question is a mechanical fan water pump off a 1jz(soarer) the same as the 2jz waterpump or will I need to buy the rear housing from the dealer as well for the 2jz water pump to work on the 1jz? Appreciate the help guys.

If its in great condition just clean it up and spray it with some copper spray.
