With out actuall making my own post, but if you can disprove all these things that i have quoted, yes then and only then will i believe what happened. Out all honesty how dumb does our government think we are.
Have a nice day...
yup, it just didnt sound good.I also got alot of pre-det while taking off and backfire between shifts sometimes. So i replaced the distributer and the rotary button and my wires and im good to go. Just as another pre-causion check your fireing order
I already had my exhaust for a year before i upgraded to a fipk, the gains were quite noticable uptop, and overall responce improved. To me the gains were "Significantly noticable", nuthing ground breaking but it did wake the car up.If you havent gotten an exhust first i wouldnt put the filter on...
in that case you you would still need the afm, coilpacks, cps to run the n/a motor with the gte electronics. You will also throw a code for having one less knock sensor on the n/a motor, the gte has two.So i would guess the maftpro would work and can drop the afm if you get the speed density harness.
search for na-t ,7mge-t
but you need the turbo ecu, and the same year wire harnes from the turbo.Cps,coilpack, afm, gte oil pan,gte intake(not a must) and some other small things im sure im forgetting
Long post but ill give u my insight
3k will have the gte in your car and with a few small things you can have comfortable 250hp.
188k on the original motor, you can improve responce by getting an inake and exhaust. From experience i did this with my old motor with 160k miles which was tired...
check the forsale section, i know theres several threads with plenty-0-n/a parts being parted out. Ill leave it to the board proffesional to diagnos your problem
Im n/a and went with a replacement jdm, A year later im happy with my decision but the way i figured it up now i could have had a nice upgraded block and clean stock head for a few dollars more than what i spent before.
