The turbo pressure sensor in a standard MKIII only controls the boost gauge. Nothing else.

I really don't think it's necessary. The only reason I can see for changing it is for dual feed fuel lines, and the stocker can be modded for that.

Haha! I know exactly what you mean. A guy I know here has an old Suburban that he just spent $3k on for burburry (sp?) interior. Also, it's loaded with stereo equipment, but yet he's on welfare and has several kids.
