two antennas? why? i realized that little antenna plug that i couldnt use was the one for the rear window antenna when i took apart the rear trim... how weak is it? why did toyota do this kind of configuration?

you know how theres two antenna plugs the plug into the head unit...i only have a spot for one. whats the other smaller plug for? the power antenna? i also heard we have an antenna in the rear window heater thing..do we? can i make this work?

yeah ill definetly think about it, i gotta check the connections in the car.. remember seeing some chopped wire when removing it. ill let you know as soon as i scope out the situation

well that would be pretty classy. a working power antenna. but right now im not to inclined in spending 125 bucks on this. i rather an easier fix and to spend the extra dough on something more important. i will figure this out. it can be done. i know it.

i dont want a power antenna cus i hear it doesnt go down when it should or something..and i dont have the stock headunit either

i tried metal polish cuz i had some laying around for my wheels.didnt work hellslegion: where did you get the taillight gaskets? can't i just use that gasket goo stuff to seal it up?..mine leak too.. it doesnt seem like a big deal.. back onto the shining.. i want to get it to good condition...

i tried wet sanding a little portion with 1000grit and it got hazy. i tried polishing it but it didnt help at all. how can i get my taillight covers to shine like new?

so..my antenna was a joke and i wanted to replace it. i took out the power antenna module thing. and unplugged the antenna cable from it. i tried to make use of the male part of the antenna from the module to use it to connect to the new antenna but it wouldnt work.what can i do...to connect...
