Yeah if said dude spent that kind of money on this car then he damn sure wouldn't forget why he didn't drive it for 3years...just tow it home and flush the fuel system with fresh gas and replace fuel filter and the fuel pump filter...let the old oil sit in a clear container overnight to see if...
oh my bad...I figured sense he already said he got coolant on the headgasket mateing surface then it was a waist to even bother with all this...sorry bout that IJ.
oh I compleatly believe the headgasket needs redone! It's just that he keeps focusing on pressure testing when he needs to focus on the gasket...I think he is getting to far ahead of himself and just wants to run the car...he needs to slow down and tackle one issue at a time....put the...
tom..after reading alot of your posts and replies I recomend you buy another car...and not another supra! With all do respect I say this " you do not have near enough mechanical knowledge and knowhow to keep these old cars going...it will only be a serious money pit for you and probably get you...
if the oil was moca color that is no good....
I still think a pressure test is pointless Untill breaking is compleated...someone please tell me im not crazy.
the piston may not move if at true top dead center...and when you turn the crank it WILL push air out of the spark plug holes on the compression strokes....so no worries!
And yes a blocked pcv will make the motor smoke...but the air puffs you hear while turning the crank is just cause the...
it's all good bud...you Frenchmen are some silly fuckers LOL :)
You hear air from the turbo oil lines and oil cap because your piston rings haven't been broken in...air is pushing past them which is normal on a new motor....you need to break the motor in so the rings will seal then go threw a...
Catch cans have an in and out port...you need to T the two valve cover lines into 1 line forming a Y...plug the single line into one port on the can...then run another line from the can into the acordian hose...
If this motor is a fresh rebuild the compression checking is usually off Untill...
if it sat for 3 years yes...headgasket has nothing to do with it really...bottom line is to get it clean fuel, good spark, and lots of oil....but I'd have to ask why it sat so long?
Thanks...I was gonna use a pic of a big penise but decided on my gaboon viper instead...everyone already knows I'm a dick so I didn't feel a need to advertise it......LOL
I'd put a some oil in each cylinder (just a tea spoon)...drain oil and fill up with new oil...new coolant....new plugs....pull efi fuse and crank the car over till you get some oil pressure...then put efi fuse back ....drain old gas and refill tank...pray for the best
you have to remove the comp houseing to see it.....look at the back side of the comp and you will see I huge C clip holding the houseing on...remove c clip and slide houseing off the you will see a pin the needs to be removed....
