I have the exact same problem.
Im very sure its my combination switch,sometimes if I mess with it enough the lights will come on. does yours feel worn out?
heres an update, with the help of a friend i detrermined that the starter is fine.
the car spins freely, dumps plenty of gas but does not fire.
I replaced coil pack and ignitor to no avail.

as far as the hurricane pretty much all we got is hella rain and wind.

venting into the atmosphere dosent always cause stalling, the ecu has already designated fuel for the air being vented, thus causing rich spikes. depending on certain varibles it can cause stalling.
"bov(atmosphere vent)" somebody correct me if im wrong but wont this cause rich conditions? ecu's pumping gas for air thats not going in the intake.
I would try recirculating that bov...
