I don't get why everyone is obsessed with part numbers all the time, these are simple items any dealer should have in stock (with the exception of the speedo cables).
If all he needed was reading glasses, he should have done the eye exam without glasses, and passed and not had "Corrective Lenses" on his driver's license.
On a side note, I don't know if that piece comes with the mirror mounting bracket or what, but I haven't had any luck finding that rubber. I'm still looking into it.
The MKIII never had a 100A alternator. The highest was 80A, and it was on all 88-92 7M-GTE's, automatic or not. Most aftermarket places only list the 80A for Automatics, but that is incorrect, Manual transmission-equipped cars also had the 80A alternator.
Because this comes up every now and then, I thought I'd throw this up, in case anyone is interested. It pertains almost exclusively to the North American MA70.
MA70 = Chassis Code with 7M bottom end
North American VIN codes:
JT2MA70 = MA70 Non-Turbo Trim Level (7M-GE Engine)
JT2MA71 = MA70...
Where did you hear this? I just looked up the blocks in the catalog, and the Turbo A and regular JDM 7M-GTEU have the same blocks, and the squirters are listed for all the 7M-GTEU's.
Just curious.
(Unless you meant Group A)
