so the past couple times i drove her, i realized that i'm not getting vaccuum as soon as i start up, but rather when it warms up. i know this cuz i get compressor surge for a while and then i got vacuum and psshhh. could a break in the IC piping cause this?
how come some people have surge with the hks and some don't? i used to have surge with my old bov and then i go a hks and properly adjusted it and i got not surge.

funny you posted this cuz i am in truck transmissions class now in my school and we just took apart a 5speed today. man, automatic transmissions are complicated as hell. you have the gift.
whew! you were right, it wasn't a transmission problem at all. it was just one big ass boost leak(the stock bov port off the 3000 pipe...my "plug" totally fell off) i didnt see it last night cuz it was too dark.

ill do some more testing tommorrow, even maybe make a video..and ill do that ect test. im not getting into 3rd, how is that not a trans problem? the desciption from that other thread fits pretty perfectly
no it revs and stays at 4000 and feels like its being pulled back to stay a 4000. i didnt hold it at that for a while cuz it really felt bad. more info tommorrow
