N/A intake manifold flows better than Turbo manifold

it depends really as to what exact parts you are using turbo wise. either way, yes there will need to be a little bit of fab that needs to be done. the major things are if using the N/A engine managment the a intake pipe (airfilter to turbo) needs to be fabbed to clear the distributor along with...

N/A intake manifold flows better than Turbo manifold

I have not actually seen flow numbers to compare the two, but mine was like that as I started with an N/A car. Sorry, no pictures and the turbo is not on it as I am undergoing a new project... In theory, it should, as having the Y-pipe going to the plenum would promote more even (balanced) air...

Tell me if you get this. (kinda long)

Jake, agreed, but the part that you have to be careful with with doibg that, is that if there is something that might of caused a part to go out, it might also ruin you buddies part. had it happen to be because of a short.

Tell me if you get this. (kinda long)

try running a long wire with aligator clips from the coil bracket to the NEG. terminal of the battery and see what that does, if it still runs like ass then grounging is not the problem. then check the CPS plug and wiring as Jake ( IHI-RHC7 ) stated. this is a natorious problem, you might want...

    A idle question im stumped

make sure your TPS is adjusted correctly also, they are cheap enough, replace your coolent temp sensor. Also, you stated that you have a walbro pump, if it an upgraded unit, have you bypassed the J-tube. If not, do that as it causes the fuel pressure to rise above what the FPR is trying to set...

    1jz coils on a 7m, here's the wiring diagram

Looks good and nice and clean. No its not going to be as good as the stock coil set up. The JZ COP coils are only intended to be fired once per cycle. As wired as is to work with the stock Ign. system it fires as a waste spark (twice per cycle). By doing so, you are cutting the coil sturation in...

    Engine Swap

If you are going to swap a american V8, go with a small chevy not a small ford. the cost is really not an issue any more as 302 stuf is pretty dirt cheep now-a-days. the big problem is that the 302 is a front sump or double sump oil pan due to the oil pump being in the front of the motor and...

The last word on high volume oil pump for 7M's ?

like Ian, Brian, orthers and myself found out and have stated, there is no real need for a higher volume pump as the stock turbo pump along with a few other changes will net perfectly fine oil pressure.

The last word on high volume oil pump for 7M's ?

the oil squirters are really only bennifical in constant load type conditions such as road racing or hauling heavy loads where the power is being used a lot more then normal street driving. the squirters are a direct leak of oil pressure once they become active and therefore drain off oil volume...
