    Cryoed rotors, opinions??

the car was used in all sorts of events from 45min to a couple of 24hrs events, but mostly 45min events along with solo 1 events almost every weekend. also, most of the tracks that I would run on were high speed with very hard braking zones. one note is, sorry, I told you wrong, it was not my...

    Cryoed rotors, opinions??

IMO, they are well worth the money. It is a proven process that works on any wearable metal part. For example, on my old SCCA ITS RX-7 a set of front rotors would last about 3 or 4 races depending on the track that I was at and the conditions. With cryo'ed rotors they lasted the entire race...

    hydro parking brake

how did you plumb the parking MC? just T-ed it into the rear line or what? I was thinking about doing the same thing when I finally get around to building my rears. my only concern is the pressure from one system having a negitive effect on the MC for the other system. I dont see how it could...

    Easy Oil Pan removal?

first off do not and I repeat, do not support the motor by the crank pully, that is a easy way to ask for trouble. as for droping the sub-frame yeah, it not all that hard. I have done it both ways, but I still prefer to pull the motor and trans. theres only one time that i like to lay on my back...

    5.0 supra its a comin

yes but the front section is still way to deep due to the fact that the oil pump sticks down off of the bottom in the front just as ours does in the middle and a SBC does in the rear.

Any other way to have a Speedomete?

you can get the speed sensor from an MKIV N/A car (posibily a TT also, not sure if they are the same or not). It would go in the tranny just as the piece that goes into the tranny now that the speedo cable hooks to. it should work with most all aftermarket programble electronic speedo units. but...

    Brake Caliper Comparison

toyota sopositly made a casting change that was on all post 08/90 cars, there is no advantage to using one or the other, and they are all interchangable

Smallest positive offset we can have? *I searched*

for a helpfull visual aid, here is a quick drawing of the ruff locations of the different wheels and verious items. one note is that you cant really tell the outer edge of my wheel and the cobra/saleen wheel, that is because they are pretty much in just about the identical same location. also...

Smallest positive offset we can have? *I searched*

no, it wont fit. it would sit in to far.

    5.0 supra its a comin

although now a bad idea, but one problem is that it wont fit due to clearance issues due to the fact that the oil pan will not clear the sub frame being that you have to use a front sump or a double sump cause of the oil pump being in the front of the motor. you could only do a Ford motor if you...

    Easy Oil Pan removal?

    Camber question

you may infact want to take it somewhere else and at least have it checked to make sure that it is infact what you think that it is. If this guy is that lazy or uneducated, he might not have even set up the equipment right. If the specs are what you think that they are from that print out then...

    Boosting to 6psi

how about the stock outlet elbow, are you still running that? if you already have exhaust upgrades you should be running more boost naturally as the natural boost curve is partly limited by exhaust restriction. also look into a hard pipe kit. with the exhaust opened up and a hard pipe kit you...

Going with N/A-T , good or bad ???

first off, the GTE computer and GE harness will not connect. second, the AFM's opperate totally different from eachother. the GTE unit sends a square wave digital signal to the ECU and the ECU measures the frequency of the digital signal to calculate the air flow where as the the GE unit is an...

Going with N/A-T , good or bad ???

like shaeff said, you can't use the GTE or lex MAS unit. (totally different operating principles) as for the putting the turbo on an N/A motor, as long as you stay under 10psi and proper tuning, wont be a problem. if you are going to pull the head, then use a thicker MLS head gasket. it will...

Using stock 7m-gte ignitor with aftermarket ecu

actually it might work with a slight change. correct me if i am wrong, but the Wolf unit fires the IG circuits in sequence correct? (IG1, IG2, IG3, start over.) If so then wire it as follows: IG1 to IGdB and to IGT IG2 to IGdA and to IGT IG3 only to IGT
