It is. You will still have some turbulence when the flows reconvene later on in the piping. It just won't be as much disturbance as before.

You can always find a 7m somewhere, stick with the 2j for now. I'm sure you'll find it's worth it.

You basically looking for info on the rerouted ddp instead of the open. The flows never merge in an open ddp. The rerouted ddp is supposed to smooth the flow since the point and which they merge is more of a straight line area. So yes there will be a bit of turbulence but not as much as a...

The whole point of the ddp is to eliminate that turbulence. You'd probably have to ask Randy (BecauseIcan) if he has anything on dyno sheets.
