    Tubular Chassis Components?

I am looking to build a race-ready car. I'll eventually add a 4pt cage, but given the inconvenience of door bars and A-pillar bars I doubt I'll ever move up to a 6 or 8. Personally, I want as little flex as possible, even if that means loosing an inch or two of clearance.

    Tubular Chassis Components?

Hell Ian, why didn't you say so? The obvious fix here would be to rebuild your entire driveway so you don't have to worry about your car. While you're at it, why not expand the garage and master bedroom too? They should make me the Official SM Expert on Stupid Ideas.

    Stock/Lowering Spring Rate Compilation

Does anyone know of a thread that touches on which spring rates are better for which applications? I know there has to be one out there, but I couldn't find it. I know you would want different springs for a drag setup than you would for a road course set up, but I don't know how to determine...

That would rock! GroupA, do you have pics of the chassis? I'm not familiar with it personally.

    Tubular Chassis Components?

I'm in no rush personally, since I still need a new engine, but it was something I thought of last week. We spend so much time and money rebuilding our cars, but we're still using 20 year old parts. If we can get new chassis parts out there to go with our new suspensions, brakes, engines...

    Tubular Chassis Components?

At Figgie's recommendation I'm rewording this thread... Does anyone know of a company that produces tubular or otherwise new chassis parts, like subframes and the like?

    Overheard

That's an opinion, but not one I share. My understanding is that Toyota is making a sporty hybrid, and are nicknaming it the Supra MkV, even though the production vehicle won't be called that. IMO, if it's not a performance car, it's not a Supra, regardless of what they name it.

    Photoshop request

I took a look at the version you sent over, and it shouldn't be too bad. The one thing i noticed is that the antenna's up, which I didn't pick up on before. I may need to lighten it in order to keep it from fading into the background. The other option is to ignore that it's there entirely and...

Send the image to t1orion@yahoo.com? I won't be able to get to it until tonight, but if that works for you it should be pretty easy.

    Tubular SubFrames and Chassis Parts?

So I was reading driftin_supra's thread HERE, and started thinking about tubular subframes. I don't know of anyone that commercially produces these for MK3's, and I was thinking it would be kinda cool. I spoke with the guys at BMR Fabrication and have a call scheduled with one of their...

Valve buckets & shims got all mixed up (Stupid red squirrel!!!!)

Rat traps and peanut butter. We had red squirrels in our basement for a while, but that took care of them. Little bastards. Avoid the glue traps and "have-a-heart" traps unless you're a cold-hearted MFer. With those you still need to kill them, and lots of people fall victim to the "but...

    Future turbo 7m

Yes it should drive, but if something goes wrong, you could do major damage to the engine. It's not too likely, i think, but I'd avoid it.

    What to take off clip

Find a local shop and see if you can give them a few bucks to have ti shipped to their address. You really should get the whole clip. Or call a UPS store and see if they can work something out.
