Usually when Toyota starters die, it's due to worn starter contacts. Just replace the contacts. Problem solved. :) EDIT: For what it's worth, the 1JZ-GTE starter is the exact same part number as the 91-92 7M-GTE starter (28100-46090, subs to 28100-46100).

Yeah, that's true, but in reality, it's VERY similar either way once you get used to it. I'm still faster/more comfortable LHD, but driving RHD isn't uncomfortable, and if I did it more, it'd be just as nice. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Overall though, give me LHD in a LHD...
