the reason i was thinkin of getting a bar and gettin it cut up by a machine shop was because starscream5000 recommended the idea. so you say the shims are the same as in a honda cbx 1000cc? so that means its the same as the ford zetec engines like mentioned a couple posts before.. my toyota...

this thread ain't finished just yet!:icon_bigg so about these shims. where can i get myself a cylinder bar of metal of the shim's diameter? does anyone know the diameter of these things? would help this process out before i tear it apart. i'll have the machine shop slice it up for me.

so i got an email back and they said the blue series light is only blue and i should try the little visor things to help with the visability issue :( bummer.

ok so i disconnected the ign 12v which i have connected to the cig lighter plug. key on, gauges..nothing. lights switch on..nothing. so i hooked it back up and disconnected the wire i have going to the dimmer. key on..blue lighting and intro initiates. lights on, nothing changes. this wire...

i shall do that.

so did i wire it up wrong? its supposed to be white without the lights on? because its blue when i have the key on, and when i hit the light switch, nothing happens..i have the light switch wire hooked up to the dimmer switch and checked that theres 12v when i flip the lights on. hmm..

hmm interesting. i do have the wire hooked up for the lights, but it doesnt do anything..i should look into that
