motec "supplies" them but in reality they are Mercury/Chrylser/Force coils for outboard boat motors. This one in particular are built by Sierra out in Germany. 20 bux a pop in the US.

reason is the damn IDL switch inside the TPS. If it didn't have that switch you coould use just about any TPS but that IDL switch is a show stopper.

btw I have taken apart two 7ms, one was syth the other was dino. Man can you tell which one lived on the dino oil. That motor had brown...
no difference. :)
since it moves at half the speed of the crank. It lights all 6 cylinders without issues. Only difference is its mounting orientation.
well the issue was with G-force that sometimes the reprogram would npt work but those were not very often. You can thank toyota and their dual rom design for that.
