the Megasquirt is the "entry" level ECM's. It gets you introduced into the standalone world. It does allow for using diff sensors (something that Bigstuff, FAST and Tec3 do not allow).
rival best EMS out there?? not even close.
Don't get me wrong the Megasquirt is great for the price point and what it can do. But to expect telemetry, fuel cut during gear changes, data capture to either Micro-SD, Sony Memory stick etc and any of those advanced features found on the high end...
no it is not either, but if you don't have the right tools then expect headaches in the process.

it is quite simple actually
the longer duration intake allows for the maxium cramming of air in the cylinder as possible.
The exhaust on the other hand is pressurized alot after the combustion process. the lower duration exhaust cam allows for the exhaust gases to escape with out reversion...

looking at the Turbo flange.. i don't think so as I only see 4 inputs (clover leaf).
The pictures I seen from Ron R for his design, you can clearly see the 6 holes merging at the turbo flange.

The different piston manufacture require diff cleanrance for thier pistons.
Ross wants .006 while JE want .004
need to contact the manufacture of the piston.
3271 is to smalll
GT35r is the smallest I would put on these cars. That is good for 500 rwhp easily.
