Trust me if you have access to a lift its relatively simple but on the ground its a pain :cry: The starter has to go out through the bottom if you don't want to remove anything.

I had an n/a. They make great daily drivers. Don't bother with mods. You can dump cash in it all day and won't really notice any gains(trust me I know). Just keep it in good working order save your money and do a heart transplant pre-modded in a few years.:runaway:

A friend of mine at work was telling me of a x-brace that was on the bottom of his friends mk3. It was a white turbo here in Memphis Tn about 5 or so years ago. He said it was a group buy unit so I assume someone here may have one? Just wanted to know if anyone has heard of this or even seen one.

Yea Im probably going to have one made at a local machine shop. Guess its going to make removing the trans a little easier.

Thanks for the input! It's a weird vibration that only happens ocassionaly in slow turns (2-10mph) and sometimes when I put it in reverse. I hope it is something that easy to replace and not my lsd!
