i would think constant high pressure when not needed would shorten the life of some of that mumbo jumbo in that shifto box. the high pressure would probably cause high temps, even through the cooler. :dunno: makin' assumptions.

i did the swap. it's a lot more fun now. i too landed a sweet deal. my friend had a n/a and i got everything off of that thing.

buckethead, thats some good stuff. i got bermuda triangle and a couple songs from electric tears, although i think it would be a lot more enjoyable live. yeah he's got some stuff thats out there, but i like that shit so its all good :-P i would like to know the significance of the kfc bucket...

yeah, even with the proper tool for it, it's still hard. i was dickin' around for 10 minutes and got one damn shim out. i said fuck it, and took the cams out. wanna buy my tool?:biglaugh: yeah them valve shims are gay. and pricey. but what's new.

that center sparkplug valley piece is actually a gasket, there's like composite material on the underside of it. make sure it's sealing well. i didn't want to pay big bucks for replacing it, so i cleaned up the old one, and use "the right stuff" rtv around where it seals. it's been good ever since.

what injectors, regulator, pump, singel turbo with 25psi? big injectors big regulator :dunno: big pump big single turbo and a custom restrictive intake manifold with small IC pipes :sarcasm:

i'm running an oem headgasket on a resurfaced head and arp studs torqued to whatever the arp card said, i forget. i'm running up to 13-14psi, and it been okay so far *knocks on wood* that's the setup that i would think is appropriate for a stock ct setup.

i got a ddp. as long as i do the lowrider technique, i'm all good. i actually had more of a problem of smacking the pipe on rebound than scrapes.
