Yea all of this shit from installing a front main seal incorrectly. It's at the shop right now my mechanic is checking it out some more. And I just got the damn AC working beautifully all I needed to do was fix the small oil leak then this happens. My friend has a 2JZGE VVTI full swap that he...
Well turns out my little problem turned into an even bigger one, compression on cylinders 3 and 4 were 80-90 and had oil on the spark plugs also the new main seal I installed some of it might have gotten sucked into the crank. Oh, and I might have bent valves.
Tried changing my front main seal since it's been leaking a little bit but it turned out to be a disaster and my new main seal got shredded and the metal key piece came out as I tightened the crank pulley. Can I re use that crank key or am I fucked?
The question is do I order new suspension parts, Tokico Illumina IIs TEMS shocks, BG lowering springs, and bushings, or do I get this downpipe? I probably should replace my suspension parts and figure out wtf is making a pigeon sound in the rear passenger area.
Well I am in Houston so pretty much sea level as well and the air feels like a thick soup when it gets humid here lol. So I should also get a boost controller to keep fuel cut at bay?
Would getting a downpipe on a stock motor increase the boost to fuel cut? I've read that most people don't hit fuel cut and is generally safe to just throw on a downpipe on a stock motor without fuel cutting problems or any other problems.
Well most of my friends have V8s like one has a 400+hp GTO, one has an SC400, one has an SC300, one has an SC300 with a 2jz vvti, so I would need a lot of mods to keep up with them lol.
I've heard and read it's better to get the flex section because there is less stress on the turbo when things expand and contact from heating and cooling. The kind of sound I want is the turbo spool and it seems that if I go with the vented DDP the turbo spool sound would be overwhelmed by the...
Yea I am going to buy a down pipe from either Raptor or BIC I've seen and held Ebay metals and it feels and sounds like plastic with metal paint and I am all for supporting locals especially if they do great work.
Lithium, you just blew my mind
Alright ladies and gents, school me on the different variations of down pipes. I have researched and got so many mixed opinions and "facts" etc. I want to blow my brains out. I hear and read I could get an ebay DDP and be better off instead of spending the extra $200+ on a name brand one...
I have tried looking through the TSRM I have but it didn't help much with window adjustment but on that note I think the problem is the weather stripping that runs along the pillar where the window slides up into.
