Most recent stuff about the tires seem to be from around 2005 when they put them on that Audi A4. Not much since.

Toyota uses different sized spacers to adjust for driveline angle. There are 5 different sizes for a reason (technically 6, since not all cars have the washers according to the TSRM).
The 6 sizes for the A70 are 0mm, 4.5mm, 6.5mm, 9mm, 11mm, 13.5mm.
Interestingly, Toyota does not actually...

That being said, I see no reason they couldn't just have a rubber sidewall covering the internals of the tire. It would both look better as well as take care of anything getting in there.

They were in the previous picture, lol.
The E-brake is there because it would push the shifter too far over it if was on the driver's side. Quite a few cars are like this, I like it, doesn't get in my way.

Visa debit cards were not offered in Canada until very recently. If I wanted to buy online, or get a hotel room, etc. I needed a credit card. Having one now, it's much more convenient, I love it.
I know a lot of people with $10,000+ on their credit cards... I've never paid interest on my credit...

If what you are saying is really what happened, you have nobody to blame but yourself for having a busted car now. Sure your brother took it, but that's no reason to think he broke it. I mean, if you didn't have it in good condition to begin with, the same thing...
