    Replacement for a supra?

BMW M235i/M240i would most likely be my suggestion. Driven a few, almost bought one but decided to do the engine swap on my IS instead. Still consider it from time to time, but now that I'm a student again, I'm poor, so probably won't happen, haha. Jeff

My Other Car Hobby - Tall n Slow

Had a pretty cool '91 FJ80 for a while and did a bunch of work to it, ended up selling it to Stanzaspeed who then did a bit more before deciding to sell it to fund more Supra-friendly activities. Still, it was a great truck. I would very much like a SWB 70-series at some point in the future...

    Where did everyone go?

My goal is for the new forum to be much more content/media/photo-friendly, however as was stated, storage can be a concern for sure. As it stands, I don't think it would be too big of a deal for a while; at some point we may need to consider other hosting, but the forum isn't busy enough for...

    Powder Coating

I just bought a new pulley, and a spare. Looks great, haha. I would avoid heating the pulley, it's not worth the risk, but that's just my opinion, it is not backed up by anything concrete beyond intuition. Jeff

    Stock supra differential shimming

I concur, avoid thin shims unless you absolutely have to (and in that case, try to get it between a thicker shim). Jeff

    Stock supra differential shimming

In North America, there are a few other cars that use the same size/style of shims, notably, the MX83 Cressida, IS300, IS250 RWD (and AWD from 2009+), BRZ/FR-S/86, 2006 GS300. Additionally used in some trucks such as the FJ Cruiser, 4Runner, and Land Cruiser 100/LX470. That said, the A70 does...

    Oil squirter bolt breakage

Original bolts are 15703-42010, replaced by 15703-66010 in March, 1996. Both bolts are spec'ed for 18 ft-lbs of torque. I have used the newer bolts and torqued to 18 ft-lbs many times without any deformation. I would look at your torque wrench. On the 7M the bolts have the pressure valves in...

That's yet to happen to me, not sure it will. I'm still a non-coffee drinking sugar addict. Maybe one day... Jeff

    Favourite Cereal?

I almost never eat breakfast, and when I do I almost never eat cereal. That's why when I do eat cereal, it's the most sugary, crazy cereal I can find, haha. I tried Cookie Crisp a few months ago, it wasn't like eating little cookies at all. Very disappointed. Jeff

    Favourite Cereal?

Everyone seems to have some ideas about this and it can change from time to time. For me, right now, Cinnamon Toast Crunch is the top of the pile, even above Lucky Charms. Your thoughts? Jeff
