    1986 AE86 Corolla GT-S Supercharged

Stopped by the body shop once again today, the left-hand quarter panel is now installed on the car, mostly. Still some welds to clean up along with seam sealer and a bunch of other body shop things, but it looks amazing. Right-hand quarter panel and wheel housing removed, close-up of the rocker...

    WTF wheres my connector??

I would wire it up to use both. There's a reason Toyota added another fan, it can use it, haha. Jeff

    1986 AE86 Corolla GT-S Supercharged

Stopped by the body shop today and they've got things under control. I am very happy with the quality of work being done. I had hoped that it might be a little further along by now, but it's not a priority job for them. I'd like to drive it soon though, but that goes without saying I think...

I've noted a number of errors in various manuals (not just for the Supra) over the years. There is the possibility the "89" diagrams you had wouldn't have matched any...

What date did the 89 become the 89.5?

GA70, MA70 and JZA70 all appear to have ended at the end of December, 1992. You are correct about production of the JZA80 starting in May, 1993. Jeff

What date did the 89 become the 89.5?

Interesting. None of my diagrams or catalogs show such a change occurring until the 1990 model year (Aug. 1989). Jeff
