will this fit ? cos I'm a tool

Yes you can use the MAXX intercooler and MAXX Front bumper with a 7M OR 1JZ, 2JZ, 3SGTE, V8, whatever 8-). No inline 8, 12 or 16 cylinder engines. You MIGHT be able to get a V12 to fit, but not a V16. Jeff

I need expert opinion on this (pics)

I used Copper coat on all my MHG jobs, and I haven't had one fail yet with no "extra" block prep. I've done, maybe 12 this way? (the head and block are both checked for straightness tho!) Jeff

    BIC DDP+Turbonetics 62-1= wastegate problems?

the "rod" and "housing" are of two different steels. The "rod" expands different when it gets hot, causing it to stick. My wastegate worked just fine OFF the car. But I would have problems that it wouldn't build boost, and wouldn't build boost, so I thought my diaphram was messed up on my...

    BIC DDP+Turbonetics 62-1= wastegate problems?

Yes it's possibly, but realisticly only if you only drove it a few miles and then let it sit. It's pretty much junk from the start HOWEVER it's unlikely till about 500 or so miles. Jeff

    BIC DDP+Turbonetics 62-1= wastegate problems?

Dammit, why do they still use the old design. I taught ITS, and Turbonetics how to fix that damned exhaust housing 4 YEARS ago. That shit is gonna blow up another car (blew my 454rwhp MKIII up because of that thing, and Two of Eric Verah's motors). Pretty much I can sell the LIPP housings...

    BIC DDP+Turbonetics 62-1= wastegate problems?

yep, sounds about right. The Turbonetics rear exhaust housing is complete and utter CRAP, period. The LIPP stainless one is light years better, hence why I'm using it in my turbo line.

I've been banned from SF :(

I wanted to do a group buy for my JT62 on SF. A week later they finally got back to me, and wanted a direct link here. I do believe I'm NOT going to offer SF the group buy. I'l just keep selling my personal stuff there. This forum is the one I'm on most, now, and I plan on doing shit to make...

    BIC DDP+Turbonetics 62-1= wastegate problems?

It sounds like the turbonetics exhaust wastegate. That's why I went with the LIPP stainless one 8-). I helped fix that problem back in the day, but some still don't have it fixxed. The wastegate "rod" is warping and rusting under the heat and stuff. Jeff

Westmoreland co-sponsors bill on the Ten Commandments and can't even name them

"To finish off that discussion, nobody has ever suggested that the US adopt a national religion - Christian or not." If this country adopts a "national religion" and forces people to follow it, I can assure you the end of the world will be quite soon after. Anyone who isn't part of that...

    Best Turbo Award!!!!!

You're kidding right? $2300. With no intake, an exhaust housing that's been re-drilled, its cast, not stainless. The JT62 comes with the intake, SHIPPING, you can get an anti-surge housing if you want. bolts onto the stock manifold requiring no fabrication, normal 3" ehaust elbows, makes...

How do you guys do your burnouts?

    1) pull up to box 2) push brakes down hard 3) activate line lock 4) rev to 4k 5) let the clutch go 6) wait 7) undo line lock and let it move you forward. Line locks are like $50 from summit guys, don't cheap out 8-). Jeff

    Best Turbo Award!!!!!

I know everyone has opinions like assholes, but, in my humble opinion, this turbo is the best all around STREET turbo for the MKIII. Gobs of power, spools up quick, comes on smooth, not sharp (handy for street cars). Makes 500rwhp. Pretty much ideal for a street driven MKIII.
