Well I would suggest getting rid of the cps all together. You can use this http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/trigger-wheels-c-48.html and mount it to your crank pulley and use your choice of VR or Hall sensors with a homemade bracket.
Or you can try this...
Yeah just did some more reading and it looks like MS2 extra software didn't get the water injection code put in yet.

You can use D16 as tach output accroding to the extra pin usage chart. You can axe...
Mine does the same thing also and I am running solid motor mounts and it goes away after about 5mins. Oil pressure running 5w-40 at idle is around 19 to 20psi when the engine is about 185 to 195 degrees F.
Get rid of the profec and make some money and use the megasquirt for boost control. It works well.
Also use JS10, D14, and D15 for spark output. Then use D16 for water injection and JS11 for boost control.
I wouldn't run a 20 year old multiplexed ignitor anyways. Better off keeping the 24-1 wheel setup and direct fire some IS300 coil packs. I eventually am going to get rid of my EDIS-6 setup and just use the 36-1 wheel and direct fire my IS300 coils.
Also going to upgrade to MS3 + MSX once it...
Just sit down and make yourself a wiring diagram of the wires that need to be spliced in. Make sure you have the correct wiring diagrams for the 2jge you have since Toyota likes to change up wiring colors.
A coolent temp sensor not being connected would cause this problem. Whats happening is the ECU is staying in warmup mode which is adding a lot more fuel then the engine needs when it is warmed up. Cut out the old crap wire and install new.
Also people a backfire can be caused by a lean or rich...
No, I haven't. I thought about it but I decided not to because the vanes open pretty quickly so I'm not to worried about blowing it up. With the 8psi actuator and the restrictor inline it opens up really nicely and smooth. This is working out a lot simpler then you thought it was going to. If it...
No boost at idle..... I wish. It spools extremely fast for its size. Easily have full spool before 4krpm.
I'll let the expert explain how it works.
It works very well btw.
