For me it would kill me ruining my paint since I gave my arm and left nut for the paint job.

Late 89's started 01/89
Everything after had late k member and late 90 style harness. Cars built around the change probably had whatever was left over.
Was doing some work underneath and noticed my subframe was cracked and welded right behind the diff. Not very good weld either.:(
I have a low mile subframe out of a na auto car I held onto for some reason. Now I know why.:)
Anybody do any welding on these to help reinforce them? Figured I...
Its almost impossible for the cable to come out of the latch.
Unhook the cable from the handle inside and hold cable housing with pliers and pull on cable end with another pair. If cable is stretched, the handle wont pull it enough. Trust me this has happened before.
If that doesnt work...
The square plug on your eng harness that doesnt match the body one is the B1 plug (in tsrm).
89 cars used both styles, the 87-88 and the 89-90. Early 89 built before 1/89 is square and after is the other which is more rectangle.
You will need to de-pin one of the plugs and use the correct one...
What dyno you using this year? The guys that were there in 2009?

My 2 gauge Lotek fits fine. When you look at my three pod the lowest one sticks out a little more that the other two. Wouldnt be a problem if it was the top two. But the bottom one is right up against the dash. My buddy has one and all three stick out about the same. I might have just got a bad...
Yes, i removed old. And dash is bolted in.
The lowest pod sticks out a little more than the top two. Dont think I can shave it to fit. A bunch would have to come off.
You can buy the same adhesive from body shop suppliers and napa. I bought a roll at autozone. Its 3m I think. It was 12 or 15 foot roll. Price was cheap compared to going to body supply.
This is the same stuff used to seal the rear quarter glass in.

SG yellow looks good, but the gm yellow would look much different.
You could go any shade of gray to silver.
Personly Id go sublime. Or purple. You wanted bold.
