    My First Shot at Fiberglass

I had already read where he was taking out the pillar pod (hense the whole point of the new gauge cluster). I was just pointing out that there were a lot of holes inside car made for gauges and it looked very busy ;).

    Rod knock!!!!!!!help!!!!!

Did you have the knock while you were at the meet? I've got almost the exact same symptoms with my car, but the knock isn't really getting louder. I also only drive it maybe a few miles a week though...

help!! w/ install of hks ssqv

It shouldn't. The engine is getting all of the air back into it just like the stock BOV would do...

    My First Shot at Fiberglass

Wow, that's very busy looking with all of those holes there (the triple pillar pod isn't helping any). I like it though.

    7MGTE Dragster video 7.9sec

That's some crazy shit. If that's really a 7m (can't tell from the video) you need to give me the intake manifold... Hell, just give me the entire engine, I'll find a way to make it work in my car!

    MBC Location?

Lol, keep an eye on that zip tie cuz it's close to some serious heat. That would suck if that came loose and fell down, then melted the vacume hose going to the waste gate *shivers*.

    My First Shot at Fiberglass

Yep, almost forgot about that one... What the hell is used to determine the fuel level on an aftermarket gauge like that? Kinda sounds like you'll end up getting the the tank and installing some kinda level reader that would run from the top of the tank to the bottom...:dunno: BTW: 500th...

help!! w/ install of hks ssqv

:withstupi take off the stock BOV, plug up the 3K pipe (or replace completely) and plumb the new line off the BOV back to the accordian hose (or equivilant).

help!! w/ install of hks ssqv

Take out the upper plastic pipe, replace with metal tubing with the adapter for the BOV Why don't you just get the piece that fits into the ssqv that alows a hose to hook up to it for recirculation? You're going to get a nasty backfire between shifts when boosting (I did anyways). Just plug...

    My First Shot at Fiberglass

That's looking pretty good. What gauges are you actually putting in there? I think you've got enough holes in there for every concievable gauge that would work on a car. I would only need speedo, tach, boost, water temp, oil pressure, maybe oil temp, and a rectangular slot for my wideband gauge.

Interesting thought / idea about the block deck

He's talking about JB weld or a similar deal though. That stuff should be tougher than what your thinking of right? I suppose it would work. What temps are jb weld good too? Does anyone make a high temp equivilant of JBweld?

I foresee a fully built supra in your future with your laysuit money ;)
  17. starscream5000

    Well I am an idiot

Try pulling the window out enough to slip a coat hanger in and trip the lock button or just snag the lock itself. I've had to do that before ;). It takes time and patience.

    Whats wrong with my clutch?

I've seen supras on dynos slip in higher RPMs due to the clutch not being good enough. I'd say it's almost done for.

    Who makes this body kit?

I kinda like that one (besides the rims sticking out a lil too much). I usually don't care for any wide body kits on the supra, but this one's alright...
