I think it's a very different animal that slayed the giant. The mid - priced smaller companies (such as SupraSport, Sound Performance, BIC, etc.) did in Greddy.
If I'm shopping for a new turbo kit for my car - look at my options:
$700 57-Trim CT-26 from DM or 935?
$1500 Boss Turbo from...
Thigh - it's meatier
Russia or China?
The word "Panzer" in German means "Tank", that model of tank is the Panther. So...you could call it a "Panther Panzer" (Panther Tank)
Well - luckily I'm only about 2 miles away from where SupraSport is, so I'll be able to get the Catch can, and if it comes down to it, new turbo from them without too much trouble.
Well, I can do a quick summary of all the turbos/piston rings/etc. that have gone through my car...
1. Get car, has oil burn.
2. Replace turbo with a different used one, thinking that it was the problem.
3. Send in both old turbos for a core, get one back, rebuilt from MDC.
4. Problem doesn't...
I've been trying to avoid getting a catch-can and other PCV mods, but I may break down and do so. It has stock PCV right now and the engine has no more than a couple hundred miles on it, just rebuilt. I'd think there shouldn't be a reason for there to be any blow-by...

It'll be awhile before I can get that answer for sure - I'm away from the Supra for about a month now. What should I look for?
Are the cracks in the exhaust housing of my turbo serious? I've never seen one cracked before, and I'm not sure what to look for.
Well - Some news.
I pulled the freshly rebuilt turbo, and decided to take some pictures of how oily the exhaust wheel is (it is, the pictures don't really show it, but trust me) Jim also said that he tried a different turbo on the car and it cleared up the smoking almost right away.
And then I...
Heya everyone...I'm wondering if anyone around Minnesota has a turbo that they know is good that I would be able to buy/borrow. My car is burning oil and I want to confirm if indeed it is my turbo at fault or not. Thanks!
Well I pulled my IC and took some pictures. There's certainly oil in there, but just a fine coating, not lots of it...
Draw your own conclusions I guess..
