Mine does it when it's EXTREMELY cold, like 0F. I may remember reading something to the effect of pulling the cable out through the engine bay and pouring a very small bit of oil into the sheath to lubricate the cable. :dunno: Mine gets noisy sometimes, but only until the car warms up and...
