    Front and Rear Shock replacement

Adjustable leaves you with Koni's as far as I know. The KYB's for our cars are cheap and work, but I believe they're actually a softer strut. The bilsteins and Koni seem to be favorites. There's also Tokico. Check the vendor listings on this site as well as the product review section.

Constantly have air in my cooling system

Oh, well then it's gotta be something with the overflow piping, right? How else would coolant not get sucked back when cooling?

Constantly have air in my cooling system

What would cause the overflow to gain coolant upon cooling? I understand how you would get extra coolant in the overflow when hot, but not when cooling. A bad seal somewhere with the overflow tube would cause that. Are you actually getting coolant into the overflow on cooldown?

    BHG job questions....

When you are tightening them you're supposed to tighten to spec, then break loose, then tighten, then break loose.... etc. They say 5 times is what it takes. *jdub, beat me to it.

    BHG job questions....

This is what I think about the studs vs bolts. An expert could correct/confirm this... With studs the force you put onto the torque wrench goes almost entirely into the vertical clamp of the head. The stud does not spin or move, the only thing that moves is the nut on top so you only have...

    BHG job questions....

If you go ARP, get the studs. Plain and simple. Putting those bad boys in was the best part of the whole head gasket repair for me. :)

Find your Supra on google maps PART II! New Street view added.

I looked all over for my old car. Couldn't find it. Denver was added in summer '07. VERY cool feature IMO, but almost creepy.

    transmission

OR, get a transmission oil pump from any hardware/auto parts store for 5 bucks. OR, do it the alternative way by taking out the shifter. Personally, I think it's better to do from underneath the car with a pump, that way you know exactly when it's full. If you do the alternative way, you...

    BHG job questions....

Yikes. The JB weld + getting the bit all the way down should help. Good luck. I didn't clear mine out at all. I just pressed the bit firmly into place and that was enough for mine.

2 Teens Stab Cabbie, Then Die in Crash.

911 call from cabbie makes me think we wasn't trying to rape the girls, whoever said that. (that and the fact that the entire article mentions NOTHING of any foulplay by the driver.) Sounds like the girls got a harsh punishment, but I dont exactly feel bad for them. Too bad the gunman didn't...

Suprarx7nut 's 7MGE BHG repair job done right (hopefully)

Just to make it easier to get to the hoses and such below it. I changed the o-ring as well just for good measure. Good gravy my car is dirty. Living in a house with a garage will change that very soon. Jonathan, how do I "check" the fan clutch?

    CODE 71...help anyone?

How does the ECU know to expect a certain temp? My code 71 comes on normally after highway driving for at least 10 miles, sometimes more than 50. What triggers the temp sensor to look for a certain temp?

Now Available Remote Start for Manual Trans

I'm looking into an alarm this summer. From everything I've read and heard, Viper=Clifford (more or less). Both Directed companies and all. My question is this: Is one better than the other? If so, how? And I mean EXACTLY how. I can get smokin deals on one, but not the other... ;) BTW, that...
