Long time since I posted on this thread. Just so everyone knows, it was the AFM. Replaced it just before I put the engine in, and the noise went away. She hasn't died at a stop since, either.

I got the trans pan stolen from my 95 Altima when I had it. Don't feel bad.

That crap will usually just block up the radiator, and nothing else. Just park the car and save $$$ until you can get it fixed.

Actually, you don't want to go over 3K with a fresh rebuild. Also change the oil after 500 miles, then again after 2K. There's going to me metal in the oil during the first oil change, so don't be suprised. And have fun!

The 7M has more tire spinning torque. Of course, I'm 7M for life. The 1Js top end power is better for road courses and freeway running.
