Well it drives fine the way it stands, so I can wait if need be. I just want to get it fixed soon (within 6 months). I'll have to check out Rywire and wait for a response from Dr. Tweak. I'm not looking forward to doing all myself piece by piece since just about the entire f-ing harness needs...

Bunch of ways to do it. Don't start with a square. Do a plane with constrution lines making a cross. Manually draw lines on 4 corners, on the construction lines, use smart dimension to measure the geometry. Sent from my HERO200 using Tapatalk

Update: We got this all sorted with 3 days of Gieco taking over. She's still waiting for USAA for own up to their share, but she found a new car (1 year newer, better trim level) of the old one. Gieco paid 7 grand for her old car! That went a long ways towards the newer, slightly nicer car...

Rebuilding a transmission is well beyond the average DIY'er... Aamco treated me great when I brough in my w58. $850 got it fully rebuilt. I love my w58. :) To the OP: I'd find a used transmission. If you want a 5spd, here's a perfect chance to get one and do the swap. ;)
