    GreenChevelless's Remorse: 1992 supra build

So, from everything ive read here, you have a larger turbo, Lexus afm, but i dont see anything about upgraded injectors or fuel pump?

    1987 7M-GE Rebuild

I always thought that a simple na upgrade would be a 2jzge on the 7mge electronics. Plus you have a good base for upgrades later down the road.

    1987 7M-GE Rebuild

Only one company makes oil pumps for our cars, Aisin, the oem supplier. However, if you want tighter tolerances, i believe that Driftmotion sells improved stock pumps.

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

The 89 and 90 models had this. I don't think its for a tweeter, but rather for air to flow for the 4" speaker.

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Getting closer...and farther away at the same time. You guys know how it is; You fix one thing, you find something else wrong. Here's the motor, entirely complete, with the exception of the rad/ fan/ shroud, which has to be swapped out of my '88. Also, I finally rebuilt my glovebox door...

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Slowly, the motor is coming togther, but i'm very short on free time these days. Yesterday, i installed new plugs and wires. Next, reinstall the igniter, upper ic pipes, and the afm. Hope to have it running very soon.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Not much has been going on with the '88 recently, as i've been focusing temporarily on the new '89 so i can get it running as a daily driver. But i did finish a little pet project for her. Withe the IC setup and front lip on, I was afraid that the front tow hooks would be somewhat useless, so I...

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Also, I went ahead and replaced the armrest cover. The original is actually in really good shape, with just the barest hint of one seam pulling a bit. But I figured that I may as well go with the new one.

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Agreed, Unless you're willing to pay crazy prices. I was getting ready to try and talk a guy DOWN to $6,000 from $7,000 on a '90 na. And that car had bad AC, leaking power steering, crack in the front bumper, and ruined drivers' side carpet! Got this car for nearly 1/3 that asking price...

safc installed now hitting fuel cut at 10psi

If the knock sensor circuit is showing fault(code 52), then there's no point in trying to tune the SAFC until you repair it. PS- If you installed the SAFC in order to improve efficiency, then I'm guessing that you've had code 52 for awhile, as that will kill mileage.

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Interesting note: The previous owner purchased the car from a young woman. When he got it, the glovebox latch was broken in the locked position, and he had never been able to open it. After about 10 minutes of trying to pry the latch, I finally ended up just using a hacksaw blade to slice...

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

Hey guys, Some of you may have looked over my other build thread- "Project Get'R done", a build that is now going on 3+ years that covers every single part of the vehicle, for restoration and modification of my '88. This won't be that. I hope to finish that car by this fall, but in the...

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

On a side note, I finally got my second Supra. I have been looking actively(money in hand) for over 2 months, for a decent car east of the Mississippi, and nothing was available at all, that fit my description: 1. CLEAN, in and out 2. NA as a preference 3. MANUAL tranny 4. Targa or 91-92...

    Lots of blue smoke/misfire/ turbo?

So, at a minimum, you need a new head, piston set and gasket set. Then some machine work. If youre looking to get it on the road as soon as possible, then buying a good second hand motor is your best bet. The fact that you melted a piston, tells me you may also have issues with fuel pressure, or...

    need help with my build

It all depends on your horsepower goal. If ~350rwhp were to be your goal(very realistic, given your stock block), then all you would need is: Everything you already have, Better injectors(RC550's, EVO 560's) Freeflow air filter/ intake A good tune. No need for additional piggyback or standalone...
