oh jeez...put the stock fan on and report back! Also, is your radiator cap a Toyota one? To check if it's burning coolant, I would let it get to operating temp...drive it as much as you can, w/out the coolant overflowing...and then turn it off, let it cool down completely (like 4-5 hours)...

You don't have to hit the CPS, just jiggle the wires coming from it...sounds like it needs to be re-wired... BTW...will anything be damaged by running the timing that far in advance?

Is any coolant going missing?? How's your fan clutch? When the gauge was in the red, the fan should have been very loud.
