$800 for labor is good.
I'm not exactly sure what a "burnt valve" is, but I would guess that i has something to do with detonation...like the valve got partially melted, and now it isn't sealing correctly, so compression is being lost?

I was able to get that last bolt in, it just needed a little bit of coaxing. ;) I actually had to get the bolt in, so I could bend the spoiler...
I tried to straighten it, and this is the best I could get it...I'll have to work on it some more stil...I must say...nothing looks better than a straight pre-89 lip. :D

Yea, that's a pretty rare color combo, good year too. You should still pass with the K&N as long as you have the CARB sticker too...at least I think that's how it works.
