I had a smoking problem like that, and it ended up being the frontmost cam cap on the exaust side...it was just a little loose, and needed to be tighened...
Pressure test the system so that you know EXACTLY where the leak is...not the "general area"...I thought you made this thread to ask for help with finding a coolant leak??
Well, my car doesn't have a voltmeter in the dash (turbo).
Yesterday, the alternator totally stopped charging the battery, and the lights are staying on constantly now...
I will be replacing the alternator today...so I'll just see what happens. :)
Yea, I must agree...it works OKAY in a dry pavement situation...but if the ground is wet, it doesn't really do very much, at least not in my experience, the wheels just lock like they would without ABS.
I don't know about the E36, but the E46 is awesome...I drive a 99' 323i when I'm not driving the Supra, and it is great. It's totally reliable, comfortable, and isn't falling apart at all...
I also almost bought an E30 325Ci instead of the Supra. ;)
