Nah...Auto is FTW in a DD, especially when the gears are super short. (This car does 0-60MPH in around 15 seconds, just to give you an idea...)

I got a new daily driver! It's an 82 Mercedes 300CD Turbo Diesel. It was sitting for almost ten years, but runs great! It started on the first try! I just need to take care of all the maintenance stuff, and get new tires, then I can start driving it! Here are some pics I took earlier:

Either spray will make the idle increase...I would use Carb cleaner.

You have a boost leak, code 34 means fuel cut. That's the "bogging" you're feeling. Spray carb cleaner around all vacuum hoses/IC pipes, and if there is a leak, the idle will increase.

I go on e46fanatics.com regularly, and I must say...the Supra community is definitely better, the bimmer people are a bunch of pricks. ;)

Shifting into first gear is impossible unless you are at a complete stop. Second is difficult sometimes as well.
