hahahahaha I'm not alone!..............I got banned last week too. I couldn't get any mod to answer me about why my shit was getting taken off. So I changed my sig to Coward Ass Mods, and posted it in Dusty's thread (I think) It was either Ranger 498 or V8Killer.can't remember and can't go see...
ROTM beat me to it! A very nice setting to take great pictures of 3 very nice looking cars. I love the Supra.
Ever since the little tell your history thread the other day, I've been wanting to get another old Mustang. Digging up those old pictures msde me want to restore another one. That's...
Congrats...........I had you in my prediction 3............the one I was surprised I left out was Weezle. Bob said 4 of ya. You are a very worthy winner.
I've parted 8 mkIII's, and I have parts everywhere. In the dark, I can't find that pulley, but here is a picture of the one I took out of my 87 Turbo, still on the motor. Not a great angle. If you still don't have it figured out tomorrow, I will try to get another pic in the daylight.
Not sure what you can tell from this pic. I am pretty sure it came off an N/A, but I believe Turbo and N/A are the same (at least the cranks are). It's an old picture, but I have a couple of these if you need one.
NIce Supra BTW
BHG's are caused by hard driving on a tired motor, or neglect. Rod knock is caused by overrevving, or under lubrication (neglect). If you have a good platform, and a properly torqued head, the car will take care of you as long as you take care of it.
Find a turbo car with BHG already. I bought the one in my sig for $800 looking just like you see it. Then buy a JDM motor for $800-1000. Before installing it, go through it with your Dad and replace the head gasket, bearings, and any other wearable parts. You'd have $1000 tops in a good turbo...
Dropping the tail shaft of the tranny, and long extensions are the answer. And as I saw in a similar thread, be careful that your motor does not rock forward when the tranny comes off. The fan may get into the radiator.
Welcome to the site! That's one sweet unmolested looking Supra there. By now, I don't have to tell you what kind of deal you got.
You mentioned that you will pick it up in a few days. I would recommend that you have the cooling system pressure tested, before finalizing the deal (if you still...
Sharp eye! But, no the car is not for sale. That picture was taken right after I sold N2FISHN69 his car. I grabbed the sign, and the rest of the rags and stuff you see, and tossed it back there.
